Create an official news group
Create a company-wide news group for sharing regular snapshots of what is happening across your organisation. Have a system admin mark the group as official and make it a default group to ensure it stands out in search and the News Feed and everyone in your organisation is automatically added.
Since your entire organisation will be added to this group, it's important to manage it effectively, and that shouldn't be a one-person job. Your official group will be the primary place you'll be sharing important updates with the whole company. To make sure that only the most important messages are posted, you can control posting permissions in a few ways:
- Anyone: Everyone sees the post composer box and their post automatically goes into the group
- Admins only: Only admins can post to the group. Others won't see the composer box
- Posting approval: Everyone sees the composer box and can submit posts however they will only be visible in the group if approved by an Admin/Moderator

Mark critical posts as important
For your most important company updates, use Mark as Important. When you mark a post as important, all group members will receive a Workplace notification and an optional email notification. The post will appear at the top of the News Feed for a set number of days and employees will be asked to acknowledge they've read the post with the click of a button.
